Smith, Elder, 1860. This is  Volume I of a bound collection of Cornhill Magazine from January to June 1960. Cornhill Magazine was a Victorian-era literary journal edited by William Makepeace Thackeray. Among these issues is published for the first time an unfinished story by Charlotte Bronte, titled 'Emma,' published after her death with an introduction by Thackeray, titled "The Last Sketch- Emma."  

Leather bound. Dimensions are about 9" by 6". 

Cover, hinges, and binding are in-tact. Overall clean pages.

Signs of age include: cover wear, foxing, and previous owner name, as shown. The corners of the cover are bumped inward, as shown.
